Chris Bradley is a second-generation leader in the book industry whose journey began at birth. During his early childhood, his family traveled the country visiting universities and purchasing books from campus stores, students, and professors. In 1987, his family founded Bradley Book Company, a campus bookstore at Murray State University, which expanded to multiple locations across five states and pioneered one of the first campus store POS systems.
Chris took over the flagship store in 2004, launching its first e-commerce platform. In 2010, he founded HokuBook, transforming how campus bookstores source course materials, and by 2014, he led the buying guide team for Follett Higher Education, overseeing buyback pricing for thousands of campus stores.
Today, Chris drives innovation, technology, and service at HokuBook, shaping the future of campus retail and expanding access to affordable education.
